Aaron Hernandez, the former star NFL tight end for the New England Patriots, is accused of shooting and killing his one-time friend Odin Lloyd in the early morning hours of June 17 in an industrial park in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. The murder investigation has brought to light a lengthy and troubling history of guns, gangs, and violence for the sports star from Bristol, Connecticut, which is also the home of ESPN.
