This mother, Nicole Carmon, left her child in a car during a snow storm for 14 hours while she drank six shots at a local bar. She initially told the police that she had gotten into a car accident. When the police found the snow covered car, they looked inside and found the toddler sitting inside. The toddler was suffering from frost bite and hypothermia. She was sentenced to 8 years in prison. This video shows her statement to the Judge at the time of sentencing.
